El is just your standard creative type, trying to create a brand, get business, and work on her bakery website. The problem is, she keeps getting the weirdest spam messages through her website's contact form, and her anti-spam filter doesn't seem to be working. When El's friends email her about parties and visits, El's responses get fewer & stranger...

ATTN: Contact from the Website is a short story told through emails, and with a certain amount of creepiness and foreboding. Inspired by the Lady of Shalott, the Gentleman of Shalott, the short story “Dead Air”, and my own experience trying to get my anti-spam filter to work, ATTN is a tale that spirals quickly into the strange and disconcerting.

And, since I am SUPER EXTRA, I even made the website that El is contacted through time & again. You can even contact her (no other emails in this story connect to actual addresses, but hers is connected to an account I made and I highly recommend you reach out once you’ve read the story for a fun auto-reply surprise.)

A delightfully spooky story inspired by Arthurian legends (and more!) told entirely through email - I thoroughly enjoyed reading it multiple times and now am a little scared to check any spam messages I get through my website.
